She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Lucille Sims and Cortes Eldon Walker; her former husband Hubert Brown; her husband Glenn DeWees; her son J. J. Brown; and her sister Debbie White.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teri O'Neal (Brad) of Brookeland and Shelley Dowden (Billy) of Lumberton; her grandchildren, Halea Stephens (Darrynn) and Tyler McClure (Amanda); her great grandchild Andi Stephens; her brother Dana Walker; her daughters, Misty Coleman and Michelle DeWees; and her grandchildren, Shane Jones, Jason Dowden, Nena Shoemaker and Holly Hawkins. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
