He was predeceased by: his parents, Nannie Griggs and Hardy Harris; his wife Edith Louise Harris; and his brothers, Bill Harris, Stanley Harris and Weldon Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Gothberg (Roy) of Anacortes, Washington, Reneau Willett (Danny) of Lee Summit, Missouri and Brady Harris of Lumberton. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
