Ginger Dorrell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ginger Dorrell of Lumberton, Texas, born in Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on May 7, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hammond and Shirley Smith Lowrance; and her brother-in-law Larry Dorrell. She is survived by: her significant other Jay Loyd Dorrell; her daughters, Jennifer Lee Dorrell (Vickie Lee Bordelon) of Lumberton, TX and Staci Jay Davis (Clay) of Sour Lake, TX; her brother William "Bill" Lowrance of Beaumont, TX; her grandsons, Jaystan Davis and Clayton Davis; her siblings-in-law, Mary Beth Lowrance, Kathi Hill (Glen) and Randy Dorrell (Sharon); her nieces and nephews, Caroline Goodspeed, Rachael Green, Jessica Dorrell, Kasi Sarver, Nicholas Dorrell, J. C. Hill and Randy Dorrell Jr.; her close friend Nancy Kuykundell; her friends, George, Kathy Iles and Bunko; and her pet Big. She is also survived by numerous extended family, loved ones, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Ginger's loved ones request that all family and friends make donations to Meals on Wheels organization. They rely on donations in order to serve those in need in our communities.
