He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Waldmen and Rosie Howard Franklin; his son Phillip Brandon Franklin; and his brothers, Walter Franklin and Gerald Franklin.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Renee Richardson of Lumberton, TX; his children, Gregory A. Franklin Jr., Ashly Ann Scott (Brad) of Rockwall, TX and Tammy Harris of Silsbee, TX; his brother Doug Franklin (Sherry); and his granddaughter Amelia Rose Scott.
