He was predeceased by: his father Sammy Wayne Moses; and his sons, Justin and Cory Moses. He is survived by: his wife Cari Moses; his daughters, Leah Moses Myers (Bryan Myers) and Kimberly Richardson; his grandchildren, Barrett Myers, Dakota Freeman and Bradley McWilliams; and his mother Dolores "Dodie" Switzer Moses.
