She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Smith; and her brothers, Bill Gaines Jr. and Johnny Gaines. She is survived by: her son Michael Smith; her daughter-in-law Misty Norwood; her grandson Hunter Norwood; and her friend Barney Roberts. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
