He was predeceased by : his parents, Irene Walker Mattox and Dave Mattox; and his wife Virginia A. Mattox. He is survived by : his children, David Alan Mattox (Diane) of Madison and Jada Woodard of Medina, Tennessee; and his brother Frank Mattox of Florida. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
