He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Joseph "Joe" Lee Griggs Sr.; his daughter Kaylee Grace Griggs; his mother Grace Ann Whitman Stanley (Jasper); his siblings, Sidney Benjamin Griggs (Sara) and Twyla JoAnn Griggs George (Andrew); his nieces, Samantha Griggs Khanal (Shikchit) and Marissa Aubrey George; his nephew Benjamin Keith Griggs; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Marley Khanal, Joon Khanal, Dante Khanal and Corbin Griggs; his stepmother Nancy Tidwell Bond; his godson Jay McClarney; and his grandparents, Lawrence, Audie Williams, Sidney Barney, Estelle Dickerson Griggs of Newton, TX, Benjamin Whitman and Dorothy Hoosier. He was also cherished by godchildren, with many of his closest friends children.
