He was predeceased by: his parents, Telesphore Broussard and Enola Broussard; and his siblings, Howard Broussard, Leroy Broussard and Jean Bell-Fontenot.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Broussard; his sons, Willie Broussard (Karen), Charles Broussard (Cressa) and Philip Broussard; and his brother Tracy Broussard. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many family members and friends.
