He is survived by: his wife Emma Pipkin Steward; his children, David Steward (Callie) of Southaven, Mississippi and Emily Doughty (Brian) of Southaven, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Austin Doughty (Kelsi) of Ferriday and Adrian Lewis (Justin) of Hernando, Mississippi; his great grandchildren, Levi, Liza, Lowe and John Bradley; his sister Nancy DuBuque (Marvin) of Hillsboro; his nephew John Joseph; and his niece Mary Catherine.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Charles's memory.
