He was predeceased by : his father Ignacio Gomez. He is survived by : his mother Aurelia Gomez, Sr. (Reyna); his children, Ignacio Gomez III, Israel Gomez (Jessica), Orlando Enrique Gomez (Clarissa), Amanda Lyann Gomez and Crystal Hernandez; his sisters, Sylvia Medelin (Jerry), Ester Arrellano (Jesse), Blanca Martinez (Cruz, Jr.) and Erica Ann Gomez; and his nephews, David Bocanegra, Leroy Bocanegra and Robert Lee Bocanegra. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
