He is survived by: his wife Julia Ann Alfaro Ramos; and his children, Debra Ramos Smith, Dorothy Guzman, Richard Carrasco, Marcus Carrasco, Dolores Melendez and Rosanna Carrasco. He is also survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
