He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucio Gutierrez and Nicolasa Gutierrez; his wife Maria Hilda Gutierrez; his son Javier Gutierrez; his grandson Eloy Gutierrez; and his siblings, Armando Gutierrez, Tomas Gutierrez and Elodia Cantu.
He is survived by: his children, Leticia Flores (Robert Anthony Flores, Sr.), Grace Cunningham (Leo Cunningham, Sr.), Elizabeth Gutierrez, Martha Gutierrez (Sergio Castro), Jorge Gutierrez (Ramona Gutierrez) and Jaime Gutierrez (Yolanda Gutierrez); and his siblings, Derly Gutierrez (Tina) and Rosie Gallegos. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and friends.
