He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Hinkel Stewart; his sons, John Stewart, Jr. (Lexie), Brett Stewart (Laura), Doak Stewart (Angie) and Royce Stewart; his grandchildren, John Stewart III, Alex Stewart (Madison), Charles Stewart, Benjamin Stewart, Emily Jones (Andrew), Samuel Stewart and Joel Stewart (Hailey); his great grandchildren, Hayeden Stewart, William Stewart, Gwendolyn Stewart, Lorelai Stewart and Raelynn Jones; and his siblings, Robert Stewart (Rae), Paul Stewart (Neilia), Carol Ann McKelvain, Pamela Kruse and Paula Cowart (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
