He is survived by: his father Edwin Ripps; his wife Judy Ripps (Whitley); his children, Kristin Tate (Matthew) and William Charles Ripps II (Samantha); his grandchildren, Brayden Tate, Emerson Tate, Harper Ripps and Charlotte Ripps; his siblings, Edwin Ripps Jr., Marvin Ripps (Carolyn), Lorene Hartl (Raymond), Evelyn Elliott (John) and Darlene Whitley (Patrick); and his sister-in-law Sharon (Whitley) Amaro (Miguel). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
