He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer J. Brand and Dorothy Opal Garrett Brand; and his siblings, Bill Brand, Larry Brand and Ruthie Fowler.

He is survived by : his wife Edith Brand of Mabank; his sons, Nathan Brand (Damaris) of Tyler, Josh Brand (Ashley) of Seven Points and Ben Brand (Melissa) of Mabank; and his sisters, Mary Baker of Terrell, Ida Baker of Terrell and Betty Morgan of Grand Saline. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
