He was predeceased by: his father William Gilbert Champion. He is survived by: his wife Dian Willoughby Champion; his children, Craig Champion, David Champion, Jeff Champion, Tommy Rotenberry and Toy Blue (Zac Blue); and his brother James Champion (Betty Sue). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
