He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Jefferson and Chelsie Mixon (Odom); and his son Steven Mixon. He is survived by: his wife Dottie Mixon; his children, Russell Mixon (Brenda), Lori Mixon and Alisa McDougall (Jeff); his great-nephews, David Mayo and Jacob Mayo; and his sister Lillie Gage. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
