He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Grant; his parents, Melvin Grant and Lola Grant; his siblings, Shirlene Wornhor, Kay Alexander, Kathleen Alexander, David Alexander, James Alexander and Charles Grant; and his brother-in-law Jerry Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Brandon Grant (Angie), Tamela Grant (Buddy Hart), Dwane Grant (Anita) and Paul Scott Grant (Ericka). He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren; 24 Great-Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
