Vickie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Vickie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Vickie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She is survived by: her sons, James Derr and Marcus Thompson; her siblings, Brenda James, Darrell Morris and Jimmy Morris; her grandchildren, Isaac, Tiffany, Jake and Bho; and her pet Hoss. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Restland Funeral Home & Crematory (13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Restland Cemetery's Wildwood Chapel (13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243).
