He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eugene Harvell, Sr. and Joyce Anna Shade Carr; his stepfather Robert Flynn; his sisters, Nancy Harvell and Shirley Holly; and his son-in-law Paul Kennedy.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Ann Ward Harvell; his sister Linda Holmes; and his children, Rodney Harvell (Kathy) of Franklin, Texas, Pam Kennedy of Mabank and Carrie Glenn (Bennie) of Palestine, Texas. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
