He was predeceased by: his wife Maria S. Vasquez. He is survived by: his children, Genara Garcia, Melecio Maldonado, Pedro Maldonado, Mario Maldonado, Valdemar Vasquez, Juan Carlos Vasquez and Gloria Worner; and his mother Juana Mungia.
