He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Curtis Cauthon and Zella Mae Cargile; his brother Dale Cauthon; his son Richard L. Cauthon; and his grandson Earl "Ray" McDaniel.
He is survived by: his wife Willena Kay Cauthon; and his children, Debrina (Richard Elkins) of Tomball Texas and Glen Cauthon Jr. of Chico, CA.. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
