She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Junior Kinson and Minnie Pearl Kinson (Smith); her husband William Robert May; her siblings, Lee Kinson, Donny Kinson and Kathy Kinson; her grandson Isaiah Rios; and her great grandchild Emma Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Wood (Cindy) of Springville, Kristi Patterson (Donny) of Port Lavaca, Nikki Rios (Randy) of Athens and Tammye Simmons (Tracy) of Malakoff; her siblings, Carol Heron, Paula Bolt (Dennis), Sharon Galliford (Bill) and Shannon Greer (Rick Cerrillo); her grandchildren, Zachary Wood (Baylie), Cody Wood (Rebecca), Dakota Wood, Justice Wood, Randy Flowers, Shaylee Dobbins (Austin), Clayton Flowers (Mattie), Katie Griffin and Matt Griffin; and her great grandchildren, Huk Wood, Emersyn Wood, Tucker Wood, Ashton Wood, Asa Wood, Lane Wood, CJ Rios, Gracie Meador, Cole Griffin and Dallie Flowers.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Chapel (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752).
