He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hayes and Clytee Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Hayes; his children, Sherri Jones, David Hayes (Kimberly Hayes) and Joshua Hayes (Amanda Hayes); his grandchildren, Ashley, Jakob, Carly and Shiloh; and his siblings, Melrose Lucas, Juanita and Doyle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skyvue Funeral Home (7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Joshua Baptist Church (3231 SW Wilshire Blvd, Joshua, TX 76058). A burial was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM at the Skyvue Memorial Gardens (7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063).
