She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Edlen and Ann Edlen; and her siblings-in-law, Rodney Scott, Robert C. Jones, Mary S. Jones, Sherrilynn Jones and Darcy Jones.
She is survived by: her husband John Jones; her sisters, Terry Denham and Kim Johnson (Tim); her sons, Jason Shumaker (Kate), Jarvis Elekwachi (Amanda) and Jordan Elekwachi; her stepdaughters, Brittany Jones and Katelyn Jones; and her grandchildren, Davis, Elliette, JMoe, Nekeyciah, Mia, William Jr. and Gia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her memory be made to Mental Health America of Greater Dallas.
