He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Welz and Ernest W. Sheppard; and his son Ernest Sheppard (Valerie). He is survived by: his granddaughter Shelby; his wife Betty Sheppard; his children, Eric Sheppard and Tacie Thomas; his grandson Dalton; and his great grandchildren, Jillian and Kehlani Moore.
