He was predeceased by: his wife Reta Bratton; and his daughter Lyne Robinson. He is survived by: his daughter Dana Chesnut; and his grandsons, Carson Chesnut, Jason Jordan of Mansfield and Justin Robinson of Ft. Worth. He is also survived by three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
