He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Elmer Brooks and Lillie Ruth Jones Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Brooks; his daughter Nanette Tate; his grandchildren, Amy Silva (Diego), Brooks Tate and Zachary Tate; and his great grandchildren, Valeria Silva and Gabriel Silva.
