He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Amparo Guevara; his parents, Graciela Acevedo (Luis Muñoz) and Nacho; his sons, Ignacio Raciel Muñoz and Juan Luis Muñoz; his stepchildren, Mayra Nava and Berenice Altamirano; his grandchildren, Cesar Altamirano, Amia K. Altamirano, Ashley J. Santos and Jose L. Santos; his great grandchild Nicolai Avalos; and his grandson Leo Avila. He was also cherished by his siblings — two sisters and two brothers.
