He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Lattimore and Sadie Lattimore; his siblings, Earlene, Burlee, Dollie Mae and Wilbur; his daughter Maxine LaVonne; his wife Mattie Jewel Foster; and his grandson Richard.

He is survived by: his children, Nettie Jo, Lisa Kay and Edgar Scott.
