Johnny leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Johnny’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Johnny will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William K. Davis and Frances Jerlene Davis; and his parents-in-law, William and Jackie. He is survived by: his wife Paula; his siblings, Jo An (Ronny), Marlin, Bruce Davis and Judy Mercer; and his siblings-in-law, Danny Payne and Geneva Dry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blessing Funeral Home (401 Elm St, Mansfield, TX 76063). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Methodist (777 N Walnut Creek Dr, Mansfield, TX 76063-1555). A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Point Cemetery (9720 County Rd 608A, Alvarado, TX 76009).
