It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stan Harper of Mansfield, Texas, born in Clovis, New Mexico, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ruby Harper and Claude Keith Harper; his brother Larry Donald Harper; his grandson William Lamgo; and his sister Juanelle Lovett.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Harper; his children, Alan Harper (Patti), Debbie Hudson (David), Vickie Benson (David), Sherri Harper, Sandi Lamgo (Phil), Justin Harper and Kalyn Harper; his grandchildren, Kimberly Harper, Katie White (Michael), Clinton Harper (Jennifer), Shannon Cole (Ronny), Brian Hudson, Tiffany Fullingim (Wade), Ryan Benson, Jordan Benson, Kyle Hardiman, Kaden Hardiman (Ali), Andrew Lamgo, Jacob Lamgo, Matthew Lamgo, Melissa Lamgo, Jessica Lamgo, Ava Lamgo, Nathan Lamgo and Sara Lamgo; and his sisters, JoEllen Stewart and Kay Horton (Bruce). He is also survived by 10 beautiful great grandchildren.

He was a big supporter of the Chisholm Trail 100 Association, the National Bison Association and the Texas Bison Organization as well as the Former Texas Rangers Foundation.
