He is survived by: his wife Vanette; his son Russell Dean; his daughter-in-law Gay of Granite Shoals; his granddaughters, Kalynda Palacios (Jesus) of Bertram and Nicole Hamanns (Andrew) of Copeland; his great grandchildren, Natalie Palacios and Evelyn Palacios; his sister-in-law Phyllis Cochran of Robstown, Texas; and his nieces and nephews, Mickey Mickelson (Patsy) of Whitewright, Mark Mickelson of Tucson, Wayne Cochran of Robstown, Texas, Jennifer Groza (Scott) of Corpus Christi, Carol Haney (Frank) of White Pine, Leslie Ruppert (Tom) of McKinney and Valarie Covington (Jeff) of Plano.
