John Barrie Brown Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Barrie Brown (Marble Falls, Texas), who passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Brown and Louise Nelson; and his siblings, Horace Jones, Bobby Jones, Caroline Gunderson, Annette Mitchell and Patsy Ann Gaspard.

He is survived by: his children, Deborah Neiman (Terry) of Horseshoe Bay, Steven Brown (Colette) of Austin, Texas, Judy Laube (Rick) of Spicewood, Texas, Donald Brown (Ellen) of Cibolo Texas and Suzanne Brown of Horseshoe Bay; his sister Jeanette Geddes of Santa Fe, Texas; his grandchildren, Nicolas Garcia, Jaclyn Powell, Christopher Neiman, Jordan Neiman, Leah Lash and Lauren Laube; and his nephew Alan Rowe. He is also survived by five great-grandsons.

The family requests that people make donations in support of Alzheimer's Association, in lieu of sending flowers.
