Though Nilla may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nilla touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Byron Luckie and Opal Tessie Hall Luckie; and her sisters, Wanda Hall Hopkins and Sara Fay Frazier. She is survived by: her children, Doris Jean Buford (Tom) of Spicewood, Kenneth Naumann (Melody Gail) of Spicewood and Janet Naumann Wilson of Spicewood; and her brother Thomas L. Luckie. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Haynie Flat Cemetery.
