He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Ploeger and Selma Ploeger; and his son David Ploeger (Claire O'Neal Ploeger). He is survived by: his significant other Claire; and his caregivers, Shelby Oxford and Brittany Armendariz. He is also survived by Children, many nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Marble Falls City Cemetery.
