She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Schulz and Helna Schulz; and her sister Betty. She is survived by: her husband Mark Engstrom; her son Kurt Macek of Austin, TX; and her brother Jim Schulz (Glenda).
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (213 N Barnett St, Marion, TX 78124). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
