He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vincent Savage and Flora Muriel Savage; his former wife Carol Calloway Savage Standlee; his siblings, David, Mark Savage and Bonne Savage Lightcap; and his granddaughter Casey Piwonka Gullo.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Savage; his children, Nathan Savage (Kellie), Linda Hatchett (Bowie), Dana Lara (Gary), Beverly Sulak, Charlotte Lara (Ricky) and Nolan Savage (Bridgett); his grandchildren, Jacob Lara, Jessica Lara Moya, Ethan Sulak, Marisa Lara Garcia, Sean Jordan Carrillo, Savannah Savage, Drake, Jase, Avery Kibby, Danny Piwonka, Mikel Piwonka, Joshua Lara, Cody Sulak and Blake Savage; and also, Lora Horton, Terry Dabelgott and John Paul Savage.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Taylor Bros. Funeral Home (2313 Avenue I, Bay City, TX 77404). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Donations may be made to the Matagorda County Fair and Livestock Association.
