Curtis Tawney Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Curtis Tawney of Marlin, Texas, who passed away on March 5, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Tawney and Wanda Tawney (Porterfield); and his sisters, Jannette and Annette Tawney. He is survived by: his wife JoAnna Tawney; his children, Curtis Tawney Jr. (Lois), Traci Nevil (Steve), Jarrod Tawney (Grace), Ronnie Tawney (Cari), Terry Tawney (Thelisha) and Carla Pitcox (Cory); and his brothers, Bryce Tawney (Mary), Darrel Tawney and Adrian Tawney (Sheela).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Salem Cemetery.
