He was predeceased by : his parents, Rufus Jackson and Manda June Gamble; and his son Marion Byrd Gamble, Jr.. He is survived by : his caregiver Helen Coble; and his daughters, Rhonda Whitman and Linda Martin. He is also survived by three grandsons and one granddaughter.
