She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lafayette Crites and Eva Mae Henley Crites; her husband Gus Albert Stein Jr.; her son Gus Albert Stein III; and her siblings, William Lafayette Jr., Robert Lincoln Sr., Velma Beth, John Thomas and James Edward.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Neuman (Gary) and Donnie Stein (Missy); her grandchildren, Krystal (Jason), Jacob (Catherine), DJ, Roxy (Aaron) and Carleigh; and her brother Michael Houston Crites. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to First Methodist Church in Marlin.
