He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. King and Jeanne Lutz King; and his sisters, Beverly Delaney and Virginia Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Claudie Maxine Steele King of Marshall; his children, David W. King, Jr. (Sherry) of Granbury, TX, Jonathan C. King (Loi Beth) of Taiwan and Jeanne Yates (Russell) of Avinger; his grandchildren, Stephen King (Andrea), Christopher King (Amanda), James Mayfield (Megan), Nathan King, Andrew King and Christina King; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Aidan and Morgan; and his brother C. Lawrence King, MD (Karen) of Charlotte, NC..
