He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Gibson and Lucy Viola Webb Gibson of Marshal, Texas.; his wife Emily Ann Cooper-Gibson of Arkadelphia, Arkansas.; and his siblings, Johnnie Bell Gibson Lanier and James Galen Gibson.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Marth Gibson of Marshall; his niece Lisa Slater (Don) of Texarkana; and his nephew Jack Welch (Denise) of Marshall.
