It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Theodore McDaniel Jr. in Marshall, Texas, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty McDaniel; his parents, James Theodore McDaniel Sr. and Rebecca Beck McDaniel; and his siblings, Thomas, Terry McDaniel and Patsy McDaniel.
He is survived by: his daughter Marti Stephens (Shannon); his close friend Jimmy "Moose" McDaniel; his grandchildren, Amanda Holt, Jaime Osburn (Eric) and Ashley White (Dillon); his sister Wanda Whitley; and his pets, Sadie Mae, Little Bit and Miss Kitty. He is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
