He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Corley Fitzgerald and Linnie Jewell Purdy Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Doris Miller, Marjorie Fitzgerald, Betty Brashears, Maxine Baggett and R. C. Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Fitzgerald; his children, Robert Fitzgerald (Susan) and Sheila Fitzgerald (Louis); his grandchildren, Brian Fitzgerald (Courtney), Dustin Fitzgerald (Kelsey), Colten King (Breann) and Brandon Fitzgerald (Hayley); and his great grandchildren, Kinley Fitzgerald, Brecken Fitzgerald, Blakelee King, Emerson Fitzgerald, Mila Fitzgerald, Miles Fitzgerald, Jax Fitzgerald, Lillian King and Kip King. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
