He was predeceased by: his wife Rebecca Naugher Adams; and his parents, Winifred Adams and Gaines Taylor Adams. He is survived by: his brother Gaines Daniel Adams; and his sons, John Gramling Adams, Jr. and Charles.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Yates Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
