John L. Harris Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John L. Harris (Marshall, Texas), born in Pensacola, Florida, who passed away on May 9, 2021 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John Henry Harris; his sister Gayla Suzann Jones; his grandparents, Elmer and Lorene Bailey; and his nephew Nicolas Jones.

He is survived by: his son Joshua; his mother-in-law LaDonna Tharp; his son Jordan (Daphne Snow); his wife LaDonna; his mother Loretta Harris; his brother Doug Harris (Debbie); his nephews, Jimmy Harris (Janet) and Erik Gibson (Heather); his niece Chandra Anderson (Donnie); and his parents-in-law, Don and Louise Tharp.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: ETBU Christian Ministries Designated Scholarship Fund, Port Caddo Baptist Church, or St. Jude's Children's Cancer Research.
