As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lola may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Lane and Ned Lane; her grandson Mitchell Lane Wilson; and her siblings, Eddie Clay Lane, Nettie Mae McCray, Lula Mae Morris and Ruby Pearl Lane Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Lee Mitchell; her daughters, Angela Brown of Cedar Hill and Pamela Mitchell (Ivy Roberson III) of Mesquite, Texas.; and her brother Freddie Ray Lane of Illinois. She is also survived by her husband and 2 daughters, she leaves to mourn 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
