She was predeceased by: her parents, James Melvin Whatley and Margaret Louise George; and her husband James Louis Scott. She is survived by: her children, Michael Wayne Cooper (Traci) and Angela Lynn Humphries (Jimmy); and her brother James "Bubba" Whatley (Judy). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
